Sometimes you can find int he front of our nodes a warning light lit on.
This light ( or lights) will present themselves with a pattern that can mean the following:
Solid Red : Overheat
Blink Red (quick) : Fan fail
Blink Red (slow) : Power fail
Solid Blue : Local UID
Blink Blue (quick): Remote UID
